I love that Rodney is off pulling things apart just for relaxation. although all the way through I was just dying to know what it was he was working on. *g*

*grins* You know he totally would. And as for what he was working on...well, there's where my practically-nonexistant technical expertise breaks down. Although if you want a real reason you don't find out...I think that these are things he's working on for *him*. They aren't important, they aren't going to win him a Nobel Prize, they're just little quirky things that no one else knows about...and it's going to stay that way, thanks.

...or that's how I see it. Glad you liked it!

I liked it! But possibly because of lack of sleep, I cannot help myself, please don't kill me: Go reconnaisse shouldn't that be: go 'reconnoiter', the verb which corresponds to the word reconnaissance?

I'm not sure why I keep doing this today... *sleeping it off, back to normal tomorrow*

It should be. I was making Rodney make words up. In my head, it was funny, or sarcastic, or...something. But if it's jarring in real life, I suppose I can change it...

Anyway, glad you liked it!

Oh right! I guess it seems a bit out of character for Rodney who uses very correct -technically correct- language what with being Canadian, maybe. It would have been more in character from one of the American characters I guess, but still, I was just assuming it was an involuntary mistake: since it was a deliberate choice, I think you are better off not changing it, never mind my double-guessing! :)

I like this very much. John's confusion and Rodney's hostility are nicely in-character.

*points up* And also, thanks! I was worried about IC-ness, since I didn't watch an episode right before I wrote this, as is generally my habit...but yay for having gotten it anyway!
