Nice swooping! I'd probably be the clumsy X-Man...

I'm really glad you liked it!

This is one of the best in the challenge, in my opinion. This, the spiderman drabble, the one where Rodney's sense of smell goes haywire, and the ten (or however many) rules for use of a secret superpower. There were a couple of other favorites, but those are mine.

I still haven't gotten to read too many of them because I've been so busy, but now I know which to start with. So thank you for the recs! And thank you, too, for the incredibly nice compliment.

It took me much longer to figure out they were mutants than I care to admit. I'm not too terribly familiar with the X-Men universe so I didn't all of the mutant connections but it didn't make the story any less awesome. Thanks for sharing this! I always get excited when I see you have written something new. =)

Thank you! I'm glad it worked (at least a little) without knowing the X-Men 'verse too well. Looking back, I'm surprised at how little they use their powers-it's really more about hiding them. Interesting.

Yes, but that makes sense. After all, on Earth, if you're different or special in some way, it's a bad thing. It'd be hard to let go of that training just because they're in another universe. If that makes sense. More like they weren't comfortable with the gifts, but the Pegasus Galaxy could give them the chance to heal without Earth's social boundaries.

*nods* And I think the drift could become even more intense, the longer they're gone. *wants to write a S2 fic*
