Ooh, the flashback is perfect. I've always figured that Sheppard's rescue didn't go quite so well as he'd hoped -- so he got the black mark and couldn't even console himself with the fact that his friends were alive because he disobeyed orders. All frelled up, the poor guy.

And poor Rodney! He never could've foreseen so many of his people dying around him. *pets the McKay*
