This is so amazing and so amazingly funny! ...and it's a Kavanagh fic! hehe. You actually wrote Kavanagh fic! *grin*

Attached as Exhibit A is a medical report from Dr. Carson Beckett dated December 30, 2005, stating that Dr. C. Kavanagh was free of all space venereal diseases.

*dies laughing* Poor Kavanagh!

I especially liked the subtle, but present, distinction between "space" diseases and "all other" venereal diseases. ;)

Hehe!! Thanks!!

He only asked Carson to check him out for space VD. He never said anything about earth diseases. :-)

Thanks!! I'm glad you enjoyed.

And yes, I wrote Kavanagh fic. I love your icon. Very fitting. :-)

I may write the exhibits as another fic. I'm sure Carson's report is very detailed. And not sarcastic at all.

Wonderful to see that you've put your education to use.

I'm sure my parents would be so proud. :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed.

Good to know the law of torts is exactly the same in Colorado as it is in New Zealand! :-D

Loved this!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed.

I didn't actually use Colorado law. I just used the model law which is the Restatement of Torts. It's what we are taught in law school and have to learn for the bar exam.

Just out of curiosity, why do the 'paragraphs' have apostrophes?

:-) 99% of the time they don't. They only do when I use copy/paste to add things after my betas have given their seal of approval.

Thanks!

That was hilarious, made more so by the fact that I'm a 1L who spent all last semester learning about those torts (except slander per se) and is just now learning about writing a complaint. I'm going to have to print that one up to share with my Atlantis-loving law school friends.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed.

We didn't learn anything about defamation in our 1L torts class either. My first experience was this summer during multi-state bar review. And now it's burned in my brain.

Yay! Spread the Atlantis legal geekery. Good luck with school this semester. :-)
