Tiny nitpick- you're missing a quote. "Deadly shark, John said.

Very good. And I love the dialogue, especially We are so going for a ride in this thing, right the hell now and “Jacques Cousteau, signing off. But all of it was good.

Lovely last line.

Random sharky danger, possibly aquatic Wraith, and Atlantean submarines on demand! Not to mention a nice glass or two of Kaalamatien red, a mutual ability to be distracted by shiny toys, and the ambiguous prospect of a date. I love it!

Random sharky danger for a random sharky challenge! What can you do? *g*

The Kaalamatien reds are pretty good, but some vintages need to breathe a little before drinking. Luckily, Teyla is bring along a hand-crafted Athosian decanter.

Thank you!

Oh, wow, I love this! Especially how it's never really said how Rodney's laptop ended up in the water. ;) Poor Rodney has fits of geek rage. But the bits about the Cabernet and how naturally the date scenario comes about is lovely and well-placed, and John running in to save Rodney singlehandedly is typical of him and is how he gets in all those near-death situations. I love the image of him being all bad-ass and competant (and wet) and being saved at the last minute by another surprise from Atlantis. Fun and lovely, thank you!

John is still wondering about that damn laptop. And Rodney isn't going to tell him exactly how it came about. (There was something to do with Kavanaugh, however).

Yours is a perfect icon for badass John who looks slippery good when wet.

Thank you, Smitty!

Poor shark...

Heeheee. Panic leads to drowning. Priceless!

I know. Panic leads to drowning AND shooting of sharks who might otherwise not be looking for a meal. But John's been cured of wanting sharkskin boots, I can assure you.

Thanks!

I completely and utterly loved this. It was just totally fabulous! Ocean Pod One! hee. John afraid of sharks, and Rodney throwing his laptop off the pier in anger, and cuddling to conserve body heat. *happy sigh* Great job.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to come up with something clever for that bit and ended up with Ocean Pod One. *facepalm*

I'm so glad you liked; thank you!
