Wonderfully written, and I love the way you wrote both Rodney and Carson.

Carson’s an interesting character very sweet and open whereas Rodney seems basically a very lonely character who really doesn’t have a clue about how to interact with people. Hand and glove sort of thing going on there. I haven’t quite sussed out where Sheppard goes in the equation, though.
