Meep. My first post here. I hope I'm doing this right.

Story Notes: A flashback to Earth not seen in Intruder, so vaguely spoilery for that episode.

Oh, very nice. I can really see John needing to get drunk after that conversation with Ford's cousin, and of course Rodney would be the one he'd call to take care of him.

Now we need a sequel where Rodney distracts John from his hangover!

Well as my nicknames for McKay and Sheppard are, "The woobie and his erect-haired friend", so I cannot help but mock the hair. LOL And I always like to put in sources I use for research because they might spawn ideas for other people and giving credit is always a good thing. Thanks so much for the fb.

This was a really nice look at what might have happened on Earth. John so needed to get wasted after visiting Ford's cousin. I really enjoyed Rodney coming to get John at the bar out of a sense of... loyalty/friendship. Loved the way you had McKay blatantly refusing to address John as "Colonel" until the very end.

Thank you. Their time on Earth really intrigues me and I was a bit miffed that we didn't get a Rodney flashback, so my brain continues to create situations like this one.
