Great fandom debut! Man, this hit so many buttons for me. The hang test! Spock ears and talking Daleks! Rocky Horror! Rodney figuring out the point of the exercise! *happy sigh*

Spotted a couple typos:

• and Rodney was sure he knew it.-should have a closing parenthesis after the period

• "I don't know about you, John (Rodney said pointedly), but my underwear doesn't shimmer"-I’d ditch the parentheses, put a comma and closing quotes after John and opening quotes before but.
