Also the pretty icon I’m using and the simply amazing banner/cover of the story were made by tx_tart. Her artwork provided much needed focus and inspiration when writing this story.
For the record, I could not find any reference to Emmett’s first name, so he’s Emmett or Doc in this fic even though apparently Emmett is his last name. Also, all pseudoscience in this story came from googling poisonous snakes and picking and choosing various tidbits of information. You have my vow that no real science was harmed in the writing of this story. And finally to valderys, I hope you enjoy reading this story almost as much as I enjoyed writing it.
