Hey, I'm looking for some fics with Jack O'Neill being ancient, ascended, ancient descended please.
And fics that are John Sheppard being ancient, ascended, ancient descended.
I don't care if they're gen, slash, or het I just reallllllllly like these fics and would love to read some more. Thanks!

Waking John and its unfinished sequel A Family Thing by elementalv.

The Measure of Your Touch by skieswideopen.

Yawning Angel by slybrarian. Sly also wrote an Ancient AU for SGA Big Bang, Hope Flies Alone.

This one is really about Cam after the apocalypse, but there's ascended Daniel and John: By the Banks of the River Styx also by skieswideopen.

And you should of course check out ratcreature's John as Ancient, Ascended, etc, thematic list. Please note that these aren't recs, just a thematic list. (There are a few stories I would not recommend, fyi. I'm pretty sure you'll know them when you read them.)

ETA: Darn, I can't find that one fic I really love about John and his mom. Maybe someone else will remember it? Her name is like Rhoda or Rhonda or something, and John visits Dave to look at their old family albums to find an old photo of her.

Ha! As soon as I edited my previous comment, I found the fic in question! Haven't To Deserve by mad_maudlin. The story wasn't as old as I'd imagined, it was written and set post-"Enemy At The Gate".

Have you searched FF.net? The quality of fic is very variable, but sometimes you stumble across a gem or two.

He's not ascended, but he's travelling through past lives with the help of an ascended being. And the others make guest appearances! I wrote this one because I couldn't find any stories about Jack being ascended, etc. I'm going to read some of these recs now :)
