Anyway, in my fanon, Jonas is the one who helped restore the majority of Daniel's memory/identity in a short time by showing him a clipshow of mission footage he'd cut together as an aid to his own understanding of Daniel's role on the team. With input from Sam & Teal'c, or course. :D

This was so well written and spot on as to character and canon. Very thought provoking, too. In short, I loved it!
Daniel definitely was not a pacifist. He rose to the occasion more often than not when violence was the only way to save the team. He had the wisdom to know when to negotiate and when to act, which is part of what made his character so interesting.

One of the things I like most about Daniel, actually, is that he is not actually all that wise sometimes. GOOD characters have flaws (arrogant much, Daniel?) but we love 'em anyway. :)
