Yesterday, I offered to take ten prompts for drabbles. Nobody is more surprised than me that I've actually done all ten!

These range from pre-series through S9. I've put them in chronological order, more or less. Expect spoilers throughout the series, and there are specific episode tags for Thor's Hammer, Revelations, Abyss, Evolution, and an AU

I chose Teal'c's wording very, very carefully. Technically, he fufilled that promise to the letter.

I especially love Teal'c and Nyan bonding over ice cream. And then poor Bill Lee after the events in Evolution.

The one I find really haunting though is the Road Not Taken AU with the alternate arrangement for "Enemy Mine".

RNT AU is Zat's little pet interest, and I'm glad she's pushing me to play in that sandbox. The extra emphasis on power over morality in that AU would've definitely led to some very unhappy twists in certain eps, don't you think?

Y'know, I have trouble conceiving of Daniel staying with that program. He must be pretty different as well. Or he was doing something behind their backs before he was captured/killed.

As Abyssis and I have discussed more than once, I have some pretty ugly theories regarding the Daniel of that AU - including the possibility that the government handed him over to the Ori themselves, or that he's imprisoned somewhere on Earth, with the Ori story spread to stop people from looking for him.

Zats has asked me to write a fic about that AU, and I think it's going to be pretty depressing. Fascinating, though. :)
