Summary: "You gave up coffee for your symbiote?" Jacob brings his real taste of Earth back to Vorash. Set in late S2, right after Show and Tell. ~625 words. Rated G.

Hee! Awesome from the first word to the last! Interestingly, one of the H-words that I had brainstormed for my soup contribution was "habits", with the intention of touching on that quote about giving up coffee for Selmak. I'm so glad I chose another option, because nothing I could have written would ever even be worthy to bask in the shadow of your greatness ;)

We actually got two ficlets that touched on the same moment - Jacob feeling Selmac slip away at the end of Reckoning - and they're both very different and equally awesome.

And now I'm reminded of suzannemarie's comm one_prompt - I hope she gets some good fics there!

I've always imagined Jacob just a little alarmed at slipping so easily into that "old married couple" vibe with Selmac, but - yeah. It happened pretty fast, I think!
