Dude, that rocked! Your Jack voice is fabulous :)

One of Teal'c's eyebrows moved up about a millimeter. Jack figured that was Teal'c for panic.

*loves*

Thank you! Jack does tend to talk in my ear and not shut up. I'm thrilled the voice worked so well for you. :)

Oh, that's hysterical. Takes me right back to Season One.

They were so cute and clueless! I love the later seasons, too, but early on, when they still had no idea what to expect every time they stepped through the gate -- there was just something wonderful about that, and I miss it sometimes.

I'm glad you liked it. I'm glad you laughed! :)

P.S. Congrats on the job!

Oh, this was fabulous! Everyone was just like they're supposed to be, and it was wonderfully written. Clear and intriguing and so very alien and whacked the hell out!

And you can see the love that's already starting between them. *happy sigh*

Thanks so much, Jenn! I actually had COTG, Emancipation, The Broca Divide, and The First Commandment on repeat for ... well, let's just say it'll be a while before I need to watch again. But I wrote a lot in my journal about how different they sounded, how different their lives were, etc, etc. I was surprised when I made the connection that nobody knew about Teal'c's family yet. But there are also traces of, as you say, the love between them (Teal'c apologizing for losing Daniel to the crazy people with rocks, for example) and I'm so glad that came through in the story.

Er, this is longer than I intended. :) Thank you again!

HAH!! It's so funny that when you watch the first season, now, instead of seeing what was really there (a party of actors trying to figure out how to take somewhat cheesy dialogue, somewhat cheesy enemies, and somewhat campy sci-fi and turn it into a show that would last more than one season) we see what started to happen in season 2. We see relationships being formed, in-jokes being developed, and characters really starting to come together to form the kind of team that doesn't even need to speak to one another to get things done.

When we watch season 7, and then we go back and watch season 1, there's twice the enjoyment there, because not only do we see the actual episodes, but we remember that THIS ep was where that joke started, and in this ep Sam gets over being all "I have to prove myself because I'm a girl OMG!" and Jack is all "Okay, I give up. This isn't so bad."

"I was the one on watch, Teal'c. Don't worry about it. What's wrong with your stomach ( ... )

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback, Mitai. As I think I told Jenn up above, I spent a lot of time rewatching early S1 to get the voices just right, and remind myself how little they knew about each other at that point. It was a bit of a challenge.

And yes, we're thrilled at how well the ficathon has turned out. I only wish I could just sit down and read all the stories in a row!

I confess, I had to google the Moliere/mole connection. But I'm very glad you liked the story! Thanks lots for the feedback.
