For some reason, I never got into the fandom side of XF. Around that time, I was crazy over Star Wars and ST:TNG. Don't know anything about fanfic yet, but I think I was writing Mary-Sue SW fic during English class. :P
I was also reading heaps of ST novels and getting all the then new SW books that were coming out. My first proper fandom show was KFTLC. Which was how I got to know Al, and then through her, you. Holy crap, I was still in Malaysia back then and that was AGES ago!
I just went back to the first entry of my LJ (which was right around the time of the HL con when you and I met) - do you realise we've known each other just over 9 years?! Craziness!
