I can't help it but I love this new show - Sea Patrol. I've never been HUGE on Aussie Drama (it took me 3 years to get into McLeod's Daughters... Blue Heelers was really the only thing that I was into from near the beginning) but I'm hooked on this. Big time. I have no interest in it. Didn't like Blue Heelers, Water Rats et al, so that put it behind the 8-ball to begin with. And then I have a bit of a principle against it because of the whole 'border security' angle. And not a fan of Lisa McCune.

Zing! You have singlehandedly reminded me of "Sea Change", an Aussie drama that ruled my head a very long time ago: it makes me wanna watch Sea Patrol out of nostalgia.

Never watched Sea Change, but from what I've heard about SC I have a feeling the two are a bit different. But still, it's not a bad way to pass an hour on a Thursday night. Navy boats - yay!
