Not so much in the HP fandom, yes to SW (though not as much as I used to be) and a definite YES to LOTR (I notice on your profile you have the SoA link - are you the webmiss of that very awesome site?).

I'm not really in any fandom much but LotR, though it was the SG one that got me into fanfic to start with. But I *am* a big fan of all the other things, and my daughter occasionally points me towards a HP fic she found/likes.
LOL.. no, not webmiss of SoA, but I couldn't figure out how to link to my stories there so... that was my poor attempt to do so, LOL. I'm still a LJ greenie... so you might say I'm a green geek, LOL.
And yes, feel free to friend and I will do the same. You can never have too many geeky friends. OH... and you know - I didn't even *know* they had a Highlander full series boxed set. WOW... been ages since I've seen that hunk that is Adrian Paul.... do you mean the tv series or the movies?

Ditto. Most of my time was spent on the sgfic list at Yahoo!Groups (though it was with onelist when I started!) or trawling through the Heliopolis archive. :) I even had my own archive for a little while before RL got to be a bit much to juggle.
I didn't even *know* they had a Highlander full series boxed set. WOW...
You can find the one available in the States here. I've had my eye on it for a while but it's always been too exy with the postage and the conversion of the Aussie dollar. Which is why I'm just so gleeful that it's FINALLY available out here!!

Dude, TELL me about it!! I've seen this same collection on an overseas site for about the last 2 and a bit years but only in the last 6-12 months have they offered overseas sales. Of course, the postage was still astronomical so I didn't bother getting it but OMG NOW I CAN!!! *bounces*
And with it releasing May 30, that'll give me JUST enough time to save after we've finished moving house this month. :D W00t!

Well, we're old hands at the moving thing. This will be the third time in 12 months we moved (6 months at each of the other places) so we've got a fair idea of what it's going to cost.
Our main problem is going to be WHERE we're going to move. We still haven't found a place and our lease is up on the 12th. :-\ Though I checked out the legislation for rentals and if we haven't received written notice by the time the lease ends, we go on a periodic agreement and they have to give us 2 months notice, so FINGERS CROSSED we don't receive anything in the mail! LOL
