What in the world is the hardest item to find (for purchase) either New OR Used?

X-Files Season 3 on DVD. SeriouslyIt's worse if you're looking for 'part 1' in the 3-disc slimline sets... they're practically non-existent! (Speaking from experience here

I didn't realise they were dicontinuing them...why? They think that noone else wants them? just saw it on ezy's website (and jbhifi is down to only 4 or 5 half seasons). Do you want me to keep an eye out at my local ezy and jb?

Sanity.com.au has them all, but for $32 per half season. And the movie isn't available here on dvd, I'm going to get it through amazon.

God only knows. Did the X-File fandom dry up all of a sudden?? I have no idea why they'd stop producing DVDs for such a popular series. *shrugs*

Aw, thank you for the offer! I really appreciate it. I'm keeping an eye on this thing on ebay (full season 3 boxset) but if it doesn't pan out, if you wouldn't mind just keeping an eye out for S3 part 1 of the slimline pack, that would be great. I seem to be able to get part 2 easily enough, but part 1 has vanished off the face of the earth!

Yeah, with the $13 for part 2 works out to $45-ish for the full season. The box set I'm watching on ebay is like the original box sets that first came out (as my S1 & S2 box sets are) so if it doesn't go over that amount, I might just try and grab it instead. Fingers crossed SOMETHING eventuates. :)
