Star Wars TV spin-off aims for 100 episodes

Oh. My. God. What are they THINKING?! Seriously, that has bad idea written all over it. And do they realise that 100 episodes is essentially 5 SEASONS??? More, if the seasons are shorter. *shakes head*

And I especially agree with the last paragraph:

Ditto! Don't get me wrong - I'm a bit of a SW fangirl (was MORE of a SW fangirl before the last 2 installments came out) but as the movies have gotten progressively "eh." for me, I'm just not into it as much. I really don't care about 'the early years'. LOL

Star Wars - The Early Years?! What I want to know is how are they going to make Luke's childhood years dark? It was blatantly obvious in SW IV that Luke was an innocent who had never been exposed to the rough people of the world. Think Mos Eisley cantina, man. He was a naive dork in that scene! Anyone who had a dark childhood would have felt at home there.

But Firefly, mhmm ~ that would make for some good watching.

Have felt and still feel some mighty powerful love for SW, but can't really see the charm of an SW tv series.. Firefly is my baby, 'tis a damn fine tv series and I couldn't believe it when I heard it'd been cancelled. Love everyone onboard Serenity. :) *hearts*
