Welcome to the Double Jeopardy dvd commentary. I think it’s quite an enjoyable commentary and I encourage those who haven’t taken the time to listen to do so sometime. Once again, I did a lot of straight up transcribing because I just couldn’t resist.

I agree. I've tried to explain this sequence to people, and it always looks...bad. But when you hear Shanks and Tichenor, there's such an obvious affection and camaraderie in their tone, it really portrays the opposite.

Hee hee. I forgot about all the jokes with Daniel's head.

It's occurred to me when I've listened to commentaries or interviews that in a lot of cases if people did the things that RDA did, they'd be talked about with gritted teeth and annoyance. But I never really get that feeling about it in his case. Exasperation sometimes, but it really feels like genuine affection and enjoyment when they bring these things up. Apparently, like his character, he walks a fine line.

You know the nice things about doing recaps? You don't get stuck trying to figure out the characters where you want to go. It's all right there for you! ;)

Ironically J T said it best,the audience wants to see the character moments not the special effects,too bad TPTB didn't listen to him...

I haven't heard this commentary in a while and it made me laugh,Michael is such a card! I love his commentary's. JD
