I'm not gonna lie, I'm really surprised I'm still here and even got positive comments. I didn't think my icon was the best it could be, but I ran out of time and had to turn it in. This made my day.

Could I have the comments for #30 please? Um, unscreened is ok. Thanks.

- 30: (I don't find this icon interesting, I see what the crop is trying to do, but the figures do not stand out against the machines in the background.)
- 30: The crop is nice, but the colouring is a bit flat, and it's overall too blurry.
+ 30: The crop, coloring, and the way you expanded the negative space are awesome.
+ 30: (The cropping and colouring work well to form a lovely icon.)

+ 27: i just love the sharp colouring the icon has a high quality alomost HD feel to it
+ 27: Love the crop on this icon. Perfectly highlights Jack's wonderful expression. Great coloring, vibrant but natural.
+ 27: wonderful crop and beautifully colored. The contrast is perfect and dramatic.

Wow, I really can't believe I'm still in the round... There were so many amazing entries this week, and I know mine fell short. Congrats to all the winners, and I'll have the banners up in the next few days!

And if memory serves, my icon was #16--I'd like comments for that please, unscreened.

- 16: Texture doesn't flatter.
- 16: difficult cap, but it's blurry.
- 16: Admittedly, this was not an easy cap to work with, so kudos for trying! Overall, the icon has a very grainy and pixellated feel to it, which distracts from the isolation inherent to the image.

"7: You're brave to choose such an up-close crop for a LIMS. Seems like voters don't care for them like I do. Nice crop and especially nice image clarity. That's hard to achieve with those early season caps."
