I liked your entry. The image looks tangible; it has a nice depth.

Your 2nd icon is funny and I like the 3rd icon. Its tight crop is good and Sam's hair looks touchable. Very nice. :)

Sometimes I think writing goofy things (and making funny icons) is the only reason I am on LJ :D

Aw thanks. On the third one I rotated the image a bit to help with the crop. I have seen so many icons on that cap it is difficult to come up with an original concept so I concentrated on the hair.

I think that's a good reason to be on LJ. The world is grim enough; never underestimate the power of laughter or the value of providing a smile.

I haven't seen many icons using that cap but then, I don't hang out in any S/J communities. :)

I loved the ethereal feel of the icon, and I'd be willing to bet that people's individual monitors were a big, big factor in the voting. At home, it looks great. At work, it looks way too whitewashed.

I actually wondered how this was going to look on other monitors. We just recently got new computer, so I'm still adjusting to how bright and shiny everything is on it, compared to how things looked on our last one. I probably should have checked it out on hubby's laptop before entering it ;)

I liked the continuation of the paint into the word skin on your entered icon. Very clever!

Your entry was made of 100% win. The color is delicious, the crop is wonderful. I liked the way you worked the text so that it blends into his body art. I'm still groving on the coloring you have here; I very rarely see Teal'c colored so perfectly.

You make the prettiest icons! i'm so glad I don't have the job of deciding on an entry amongst your icons each week.

Loved the entry. Love the 1st alternate. The 2nd alternate has gorgeous color and I like the rotation. I've seen that cap in so many icons but I think this is the first time I've seen it treated that way. Your 3rd alternate is also pretty. Of course.

Thank you! :) I was trying to come up with something new with the Daniel icon, and the rotation seemed to work okay. Though now that I'm looking at it again, the background colour seems a little strong. Hmmm...

Strong, yes, but I think it works well. That's my taste -- I like the rich, saturated colors -- and I know that not everyone agrees. *shrug* It's pretty to me. :)
