Jack loves Janet because on their first meeting she didn’t take any crap from Daniel who despite bleeding profusely kept saying he was fine and Jack needed to be helped first. Janet stepped forward one very small step and in no uncertain terms told Daniel that she would tie him to the bed and cut off his coffee supply (she’d heard the rumours before even meeting SG1) if he didn’t sit down and let her check him out now
