Teyla dreams about the day her people will be entirely free of the Wraith. No more fear, no more terror, no more counting the potential cost each time a child is brought into the world. Free to plan, to build, to leave a legacy and know without doubt that there will be future generations to remember their struggles and triumph.
She dreams of the Wraith in Atlantis. Running, fighting, hiding. Finding the barely recognizable bodies of her friends, dying herself. Or occupation and captivity. Atlantis a food pantry, nothing more, where the survivors go mad waiting for their turn to die.
She dreams of being controlled by the Wraith. Being their eyes and ears, their advance army, their saboteur. Betraying her friends, her people, bringing about their destruction. Screaming on the inside. Every day, screaming louder, while she smiles at those who are going to die because she is flawed and weak.
She dreams of controlling the Wraith. They will do her bidding, reveal all their secrets, tell her where to find them and how to
