Sam once told Jack that if she died, she'd have no regrets. And she still believes that-mostly. But she's learned a lot in the last eight years, she's learned that one can learn from an experience, and be grateful for having experienced it, and yet still have regrets ( ... )

Thanks! I just started writing in the SG1 verse with the Samficathon last month. So it's nice to have these prompts to leap from.

*raises hand* This one was my prompt, and I'm so glad you wrote something for it. You handled it beautifully, and I especially like the bit about Jolinar. That makes a lot of sense, and I would never have thought of it.

Thanks for the prompts! I'm glad you liked them. I wrote them sort of improv. I always wish more time had been spent on Sam's dealing with Jolinar over the years.

Are you also posting the links or the lists to your journal? It is my dear hope that people browse the older prompts and the second-chance post -- that's why I put the community memories together -- but I worry that your new contributions won't get as much attention as they should. If you're of a mind to, pimp these to your flist as well. :-)

I am putting these on my journal as well, but I'm not 100% sure what you mean by 'flist' - is this friend list? If so, I'm pretty much a newbie so I don't really have one.

Gah, very sorry I never answered this. 'flist' is 'friends list,' just a shorthand way of referring to the other journals you have friended. I'm glad you put these on your journal! That way it'll be there for new friends to find and enjoy as your flist grows. A belated welcome to lj, too, if I haven't said that before. :-)
