1. His mother: his father died long before Ronon was old enough to remember him, and so his mother brought him up. When he was five, his next door neighbor's father died as well, and the two women moved in together to raise their children. Ronon got used to going to Arda for all sorts of things - help with his homework, an extra cookie, permission to go out and play with his friends - but right up until the end, his mother was who he went to when he was hurt and needed comfort. Even after the end, really; he wore a pendant of hers around his neck, and held it, talked to her, when he was Running ( ... )

I really like how he can't quantify Evan. And the rest are just lovely glimpses of Ronon's life.

I wondered, when John was #3, what you were building up to. Or rather who you were building up to!

Ronon can say Evan makes no sense, but Ronon doesn't seem too confused, lol. He wants a Happily Ever After. :-)

Hi! Thanks for posting!

These are really thoughtful and well-written. Wow, and that last one is a shocker. :-O

(I'm one of the mods, but I haven't been very active in the community lately. I'm working my way backwards through all the responses I've missed, and I can't remember if you've posted here again since this first time. Anyway, very happy to see you here and I do hope future prompts will inspire you to play in the sandbox again. :-)

Aw, that last one really shows how much Ronon's life has changed for the better now. I'm glad you ended these on an upbeat note, because the twin sister one was really devastating. Well done!
