I love this line. That calm acceptance and practicality (with maybe a hint of disappointment) is so very Teyla.

1. Kanaan - Back when she was still too young for seduction but just old enough to be awakening to her power as a women she found herself becoming fast friends with a boy named Kanaan. He was a just friend - not quite the childhood sweetheart John had labeled him - but she maybe held him in higher regard than mere friendship warranted. She had seen the other boys in the village watching her more closely the summer of her blooming. Kanaan treated her no differently than before. As she grew older she would look back on that and be grateful, but for now she wondered if she could make him see her as other than a child. But in the end, her respect and joy in his friendship was greater than the her desire to test her new body

Ford...that's a very interesting choice. Not one I would have thought of, but I can see it here.

The rest are great. Very believable.

Thank you. I've read a lot of fics where the enzyme sparked some orgies, and while I'm not sure about that read on their behavior it is good fic fodder.
