The first time John remembered Rodney’s birthday left him blushing, with his mouth hanging open for at least fifteen seconds. And then he looked at John and smiled and grabbed his present and ripped it open. So maybe twenty seconds total before he was exclaiming over the entire Batman TV series on DVD.
When John dragged Rodney into the circle of dancers at the Festival of Re-birth with which the Athosians welcomed springtime, Rodney stumbled a bit and held back a bit, and his mouth was open like he was thinking about protesting, but he never let go of John’s hand, and when Teyla took hold of his other hand, Rodney laughed. And turned out to have unending energy for dancing

I love these, but especially number one. I'm a sucker for any hint of friendship between Teyla and Rodney. Partly because they are so different, but also because I can see Teyla influencing Rodney over the years of their association, all without him realizing it.
Teyla is a very firm presence, and has a very wise, often maternal way of dealing with others. She handles Rodney beautifully!
And Teyla dancing and having fun and welcoming Rodney into the circle... well, he wasn't sure up until that point! Now he's ready to kick up his heels. :-)

And if Rodney knew how, he'd do it for John. *nods*
But he'd never get over it.
