1. "Really?" Mitchell froze, beer hanging in mid-air. "I said that?"
"Indeed."
The beer was returned to the table a little too carefully. "To everyone? I told all of you that I'm..." He let the sentence trail off.
"Not everyone. Colonel Carter and I were the only ones present. You asked us not to share that information."
Mitchell still looked skeptical. "Even if it's true, and I'm not saying it is, why would I admit it? That's the kind of secret that can end a man's--or woman's--career."
"We were discussing what each of us most missed from our previous lives. I believe at that point you were past hope that we would return to our old lives."
"Huh." Mitchell picked up his beer again and tilted the bottle to his lips.
"I understand that certain activities are officially still forbidden to you, but if you ever wish for some privacy the next time he's on Earth, I would be honoured to provide it for you."
"Still not admitting anything, but I'll keep that in mind."

Ah! I love this. That he used his "knowledge" of the future to confirm suspicions about the present. That Landry didn't believe him was perfect, and that Vala could find forgiveness was worth it. I loved Cam's because I'm the biggest Cam/John shipper ever (love your work!), and Daniel's because it shows the depth of their friendship.
