I just bought one-sixteenth of a cow. Cows are pretty big, so there’s plenty of beef.

I conspired with diluvienne to cook some of her share.

We made huge pots of boeuf bourguignon and beef chili. Our plan is to have some of it for lunch tomorrow.

Wow, that crème brulée looks amazing! I mean, it both looks delicious, and the photo is superb too.

Did you make it? Can you tell me how?

How'd you think to go in on this beef deal?

I did not make this, but there’s an excellent recipe in The Joy of Cooking.

Our mutual friend ordered a side of cow from a local farmer and needed people to help her split it up. I was more than happy to lend a hand.

no, but i think bacon-flavoured would be delicious.

i have had beer-flavoured, and it was yummy.
