In a desparate attempt to get six loads of laundry done, I woke up this morning at 5:30. My brain was not quite ready to handle this transition, which is why I didn't do it very well. But this ungodly hour is the only time nobody else is using the washing machine downstairs, on the weekends at least, so I had to seize my oppportunity.

I'm going to have to start going to these Scrabble dealies. With enough practice, maybe I can someday put up some competition for my parents - they're both lethal at Scrabble and demolish me every time.

I didn't do so well this time. I ended up with a depressingly small, double-digits, number of points.

Of course, I wasn't very coherent because I woke up at 5:30, but that's no excuse.

Everyone should come to Scrabble - it's great fun!

As for the 10 minutes spent with your last tiles... I cannot believe it took so long to find a word, then find somewhere to put it. *shakes fist at the W*.

Oh, and having spent too much time with Liz and her sickness, I'm still healthy. So I'm sure you'll be fine...
