If you will be unable to participate in starfleet_hq for any length of time longer than one month, we recommend that you place yourself on hiatus so that your Captain does not cut you from your team for lack of participation. If you need to take a hiatus, simply comment to this post and if you'd like place the banner shown below on your profile page.
