Female vampires or supernatural characters are almost always extremely sexualized. The "good girls" of these fantasy stories are usually pure, innocent types, almost infantilized in their childlike dependency on men to rescue them. But when a women has sexual power of her own, she is either evil or a flawed heroine who it is implied brings problems upon herself (such as for Buffy).
