I have had a monumentally bad day. And really the only thing that's allowing me to go to sleep with any kind of peace is that I got to read Brad/Ray long!fic. I love the level of detail you paid attention to, never letting it be forgotten that Walt is supposed to be in his seventies or that Ray left behind a lot of worried people. I love love loved it!

Wow! I wish I was half as good with words as you are so i could comment properly. This was just wonderful. The underlying sadness of it all (poor Walt) really made my chest ache (that's a good thing!).

I just spent the last hour reading this (it's 0400) - and it's so beautifully spare and descriptive at the same time. I love the voices - Ray especially is bang on - and I love that this really does feel like the boys from the mini despite it being such a different premise. It's an interesting premise, too, by the way. I love that Walt is so very shy, Nate is lovely (but snarky, the best kind), and Brad and Ray are both slowly (beautifully) trying to come to terms with what they are feeling and how the separation has changed them.

Like I live for AUs, okay? And The 4400 (the show this premise is from) used to give me all the feelings. I just wish I was better at the whole super powers element beyond giving Ray vague emphatic feelings (because I don't like super powers all that much?) But um. I'm still really glad you enjoyed it and I should probably be sleeping instead of answering comments but damn this makes me happy.
