I really like this. I can just feel that one of their adventures cut a little to close for Nate's liking. Plus they both have so many ~feelings~ but don't know how to say them.

Ray likes to show off sometimes. Most of the time it's harmless little things - tricks he practiced with Walt or Brad meant to impress Nate - but he gets so distracted by Nate's smile and laugh and he hurts himself. Or he recklessly tries to protect Nate, even though Nate is perfectly capable of taking care of himself.
