Great story! It read just like an episode, and all the characters' voices were spot-on.

Wow. When I first started reading your story, my initial impression was that I was very glad I'd opted out of doing a Castle story as my second entry into the BB. I was so impressed with how *right* everything seemed here: the characters, the dialog, the pacing, the scenes themselves--everything was word perfect...it was like an episode only better and one of the better fanfics that I've read in this fandom.

As the story progressed, I found myself forgetting it was a fanfic, feeling instead that I was reading what "Heat Wave" should have been but didn't achieve.

I have only one teeny complaint--the ending felt so abrupt! I was like, "Wait! That's IT? But I want MOAR!" :-)

Seriously, not just an awesome fanfic, but a stand alone story if someone had never seen or heard of Castle. Fantastic job!
