I am so sorry - it hurts so bad to lose a friend. It's good that you feel it was an appropriate time though. She was a beautiful cat.
btw - if these folks aren't your lj friends....
here's someone you might add who is having trouble w/ her ferret - "annabelle50"
and "eviltracey" (check spelling) lives in vancouver, i believe - you'd get along
