Aw man, and to think that just yesterday I was wondering where you were cause I hadn't seen a post from you in a while. Wish fulfilled! :D

First things first, Henry Cavill is just *_*

Air + innocence is really ridiculously pretty! I love the colouring, so pretty and soft, which course fits the theme perfectly! The composition of Earth + stable if pretty fantastic and I loved the muted colours! Fire + anger is just GUH. I love the intensity of the colouring and the purplish-red tones!

The blocking in Water + fresh is amazing, as is the colour and omg, Water + unstable is glorious. I like the geometric textures around him! 11 amd 18 from the alts are pretty awesome too!

All in all, excellent post! :D

I had to force myself to start this batch cuz I just haven't felt much inspiration or creative energy in the past 2 months. It's really comforting and heart-warming to find out someone actually noticed my absence! :D

Isn't he just divine? I marathoned The Tudors in July just so I could keep staring at his face! If you've never seen him in the TV adaptation of I Capture the Castle, it's a must-see cuz baby-faced Henry at 20 is just the most adorable thing the world has ever known.

I got a feeling that "air + innocence" icon might get good notice. I created it and thought, "Whoa! I made a normal-looking icon!" Laaaaaaaughing cuz "earth + stable" is my absolute least fave and thought it might get concrit rather than praise. I'm glad you like it! Blocking is THE DEVIL to me, so it's just fantastic to hear that you like "water + fresh," which took ages to make.

He really is. I havent seen any of his work but I kept seeing the red-carpet photos for the Man of Steel premieres and thinking, 'good lord, HE IS CARVED FROM MARBLE.' *_*

When I first saw him last year, I thought he looked a lot like another fave of mine, Matt Bomer. I don't understand how human beings can be THAT good-looking. Have they sold their souls to Satan or something? The world may never know!

I should aim for a whole batch of what I deem to be "normal-looking" icons. That would probably make me cry though. Not enough patience for it! ;P

Gorgeous batch! I absolutely love the subtle, natural coloring and perfect sharpness on 3. I also love the composition 7, 18 and 20 and the crop 10 is a great close crop.

Awww, thank you for the lovely feedback, Heather! I knew the straightforward direction of 3 would catch someone's eye! I gotta admit that the composition of 7 is due to the gorgeous plascha texture I used. I never would have come up with that on my own and thinking of how to even use that texture gave me a headache! :P

I love the look of naturally simple colored icons. A lot harder to get than it looks.

Natural coloring is definitely a difficult look for me to achieve. I don't know how others do it so well all the time!

Never feel intimidated by a texture, my dear. Just let go and GET CRAZY with them. Bend them to your will! :D

A few years ago I was obsessed with The Tudors and completely in love with him :D How can a man be so handsome though, I don't understand. He's just too good-looking and attractive. I've yet to see 'Man of Steel' though, shame on me!

I marathoned The Tudors in about a week cuz I couldn't get enough of his face. I wanted to smack King Henry over and over though with all his relentless screaming. He got to be completely insufferable in the last 2 seasons. Please go watch Man of Steel. You won't regret it, I promise!

Hiiiiiiii there, Sophia! I just haven't felt much like hanging around LJ this year, and it's getting to the point where I go weeks without looking around. It's lovely to hear that I've been missed. *hugs* Have you been churning out lots of icons lately or trying any new techniques?
