First post of the year, and would you look at that, it's Joe-tastic! This is my batch for round 05 at levitt20in20, and I conquered my insane slacker inclinations to get it done over a three-day period last week. (This was actually supposed to be my final icon post of 2010, but I thought it might be awhile before I make anything new, so I just held off until today as a means of ringing in my new year in graphics. Yes, I'm a nerd. I know that.) It's definitely not my most creative bunch of icons, but my muse is a bit worn out. Can you blame her? Seriously, making "Eyes" kinda made me wanna curse like a nut and stab someone (managed one of them, but I won't say which), and it came out dumber than I could have imagined, too. Kind of a bummer, but it's done, and that's a relief. Having just looked at my LJ scrapbook, I see that I've officially made 500 JGL icons over the past year and a half. Talk about an overly enthusiastic fangirl, eh! :P

I dedicate this entry to my darling friends Angie (icequeen3101) and Emma (evilblacksheep), who are respectively the bestest cheerleader and sneakiest briber anyone could ask for! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR EPIC CAPSLOCK OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND JGL SPAMPIC REWARDS, MY DEARS!

TIP: When you snag something, rename it with a maker's name and/or the name of the comm where you found the icon. It keeps you from forgetting who to credit!

BONUS: The first person to correctly identify the song and artist/band whose lyrics I use in this post's title and LJ-cut text will get a SHAREABLE ICON REQUEST!
