Wow. I'm bored. Okay... Let's talk about randomness. I mean, me being random. (So who would EVER actually read this? Then again, it IS just a journal....) Oh, and don't get offended by anything I might say (there are wusses out there who can't take a joke) but I am a very opinionated person.
As it says somewhere below, possibly further up (I forget) I'm listening to Blue Tomorrow (Never mind about that. There are too many songs as I write this...). But the Korean one. It doesn't sound right in Korean. Maybe because Zhou Mi has so many lines. It sounds really off when he speaks/sings in Korean. In Me (I prefer the Korean one... But not Zhou Mi's parts) and in the Korean Super Girl.... So many of SJ M's songs sound off. Like the Chiense Happiness? I guess I've heard it too many times for it to sound right sung in Chinese. It's always been a Korean song, anyway. First H.O.T. and then SJ. And Don't Don.... Meh, it's okay in Chinese. Same with Man in Love... But of course I prefer the originals (Maybe I'm just being biased? I mean, Sungmin is obviously not in SJ M.... I think we've all figured that out by now.) But some of SJ M's songs... They pull off well (And I'm only saying because most of their songs are just remakes of SJ's songs, but in Chinese... Why waste money making new songs when you can just take old ones? We all know how muhc SM hates to lose money. But I promised myself I would no longer rant randomly on SM and it's owners. I may not rant here, but feel bad for my friends who have no idea who Super Junior is.) Now where was I? Right. They pull off some songs. Like U. I still like the Korean original better, but I've watched the SJ M MV (because I love it too much. SOOOO much sexier than the original!) so many times I don't mind the Chinese version. The Japanese version, however, is a COMPLETELY different story. I don't mean to bash anyone (Like, seriously, I love them as much as the next girl... The next girl that actually knows who they are. Which is hard to find here in little *cough* HUGE *cough* old Canada.) but Kibum... You're English might be the best out of them (other than Henry) but I can almost never understand you. Let alone when you're rapping in English. And then throw in Anchovy and.... Bravo. Good luck, subbers (those who go by listening to it, I mean...) Speaking of Japanese versions.... Sorry Sorry is absolutely HILARIOUS in Japanese, because it more or less just sounds like them trying to fit in as many words into one breath as possible. I appreciate the effort but.... There's a reason I've only listened to that version once or twice before. I don't even know if they did a Chinese version of it or not (my recomendation if they have yet to... DON'T, lest it be like the Japanese one) Marry U, on the other hand, turned out pretty well. And this is from someone who was into J-pop before K-pop. (But K-pop has pretty much made up my life since... Although I still listen to a shit load of Arashi. No joke) I almsot want to veer of topic here, but.... You know, I think I've said enough. Like I said, I'm just bored.
Well, since it's in my head... So many K-pop artists try and make it into the J-pop scene.... But I have yet to see it the other way around (and correct me if I'm wrong. I was introduced to the Asian-pop world in general but 8 or 9 months ago...) I'm sure there are some, but not many. I don't know, now that I think about it, it seems as though it would be easier for a Korean to learn Japanese than a Japanese person to learn Korean. Just because of how it's spoken. And now I'm amusing myself with images of Nino attempting to speak Korean. Heh heh. In my mind now, the Koreans have the advantage. It almost seems as though it would be easier for them to speak Chinese aswell (SJ M did a retty good job learning Chinese. ZHou Mi learning Korean... not so much.) So why can't they learn German? Then I might actually be able to understand them...
Now which might I prefer (doubt you were asking, but what the hell. It's my journal. I'm expressing my feelings. More like opinions, but whose keeping track?) K-pop, J-pop? Perhaps C-pop? Maybe G-pop? That's for German. But Germany isn't really a 'pop' country. More rock, techno and annoying singing cartoon bunnies and gummi bears. (Although I actually do like Schnuffel Bunny, thank you very much) Oh, maybe I like Swedish-p--- Music. Never mind, that only came up with the ABBA song I just skipped through.
My honest answer... I'm a Feist and Michael Bublé person. I'm Canadian, and have been all my life... And I've been listening to them far longer than any other artist (Unless you count Dick Van Dyke and Sally Anne Howes (? is that her name?) from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as 'artists'... I guess in a way.) And I hardly ever listenin to G-p--- Music. Some Tokio Hotel here, some random 80's punk/spicegirl's (how those combine... They manage) trio of girls (Tic Tac Toe. Or Tik Tak Toe. Not sure. That's the name of the band...) who, honestly, are hilarious. I'd put a link to their song, but I can't on this pathetic laptop. Too much trouble. (Its called Ich wär so blöd or something like that. Some blonde clay-chick's boobs freakin' explode. Just watch it.), some Schnuffle Bunny over in the corner there (gotta love annoying cartoon singing bunnies) and maybe that-band-your-mother-found-on-the-raidio--and-decided-to-e-mail-you-a-link.
Other than that, I'm not much of a C-pop fan... I don't listen to enough (unless it's an original by SJ M, and not an SJ remake song) And J-pop... Don't get me wrong, Arashi is by far one of my all-time favs (and Nino beats Sungmin any day in my heart. I have yet to see Sungmin pull a killer bitch-face (Again, correct me if I'm wrong. This is something I'd like to see). Instead while Nino looks like he's either high (I'm referring to a particular MV cap site...) like in Step and Go. Or he just generally looks like he wants to murder someone. (I lie. I fell in love with him 'cause he's adorable (and possibly bi? 'I would bend either way for love' I didn't see it, but some people were debating on YouTube.)) Sungmin just... Ah, Nino isn't so slutty-ish (for a dude...) which is one reason I love mah Min, and when he tries sexy (Sorry Sorry is a good example. Don't Don he actually succeeded... enough...) it turns out looking like Heechul was choreographing.... (I guess that only makes sense in my mind, though.)
So which do I prefer... I think I said 'K-pop has taken over my life since' (Not a perfect quote, but who cares) but I like both equally. (LIES!)
Ugh. Does anyone know the cure to having this strange Bo Peep/Chu medley stuck in your head? I don't know how it works, but I'm just that strange.
I bet my English teacher wishes I put this much effort into essays.
Yasou! (Which coincidentally sounds like '6' in Korean (I think...? It sounds like one of the numbers....) but is, in fact, Greek. For goodbye. Because I say 'adios' too much.)
P.S.- Wow. I bet you're thinking 'Holy shit this chick is messed up.' I'm aware, thank you. I had to read it voer too, because I feel bad making so many typos. Thank God I get to sleep in tomorrow (braces are good for certain things).... It's midnight.
