Fuck, I'm so sorry. :(

I know it's hard--but please, try to remember it's a manageable condition. My Grandmom is ~85 years old and has been diabetic for at least half her life and she's doing fine. She stays on top of her meds, eats relatively well [though she's still on the overweight/obese line] and it's keeping her going great. She's had no issues like blindness or ulcers or anything in the decades she's been diabetic.

We're all here for you. ♥

Thanks, I'm gonna try to make some changes to my diet & see how that goes. It's gonna be hard since I'm a pastaholic.

I'm so sorry. The good (if you can call it that) news is that it is a manageable condition. The lifestyle changes can be hard but are possible.

*hug*

Yeah, it's definitely going to be tough but thankfully I have some friends who have diabetes also to give me tips & my husband who just completed a rotation in a diabetes clinic to help me out. I wouldn't really have a clue without them.

I'm sorry sweetie, but like Kei and Lux said, it's a manageable condition and I know that you will manage it fantastically <3 You got this!

Fantastically, probably not. If I can at least get myself down to one pasta meal a day, I will be making progress (I wanted pasta for dinner so bad tonight, but I'd already had lasagna with friends for lunch)
