How I wish! No, color of jacket is sort of strange, and nothing looks good on it, so I figured I could find thread that was close enough that would work for buttons - if I could manage to wrap the buttons.
I've made them--I used the tutorial at Wooded Hamlet and the memoeof being shown how to do it in Williamsburg. I don't know of good online instructions. Therenis a book which descibes it that Burnley and Trowbridge carries.
A video tutorial is on my list. It's one of those things that's very hard to do with pictures. And I'm not exactly sure how to manage filming it either...
I had a lesson a few weeks ago, and my teacher asked if I was left handed (cos I was using the opposite hands than i ought to be). Upshot is I think I'm the last one to offer advice cos my brain/hand works is hinky.

Just as a warning, they can take a LOT of thread. I made 1" ones for a suit and I could only get three and a half buttons out of one card of twist.
