Have come to realize that I liked Gertie better before she dyed her hair pink. The color is fine, but it seems to have done something sort of twee and annoying to her personality.

Still a heck of a seamstress, though...

It was subtle - sort of snuck up on me. I was reading some back entries when it hit me!

Interesting. I admit I kind of abandoned my other blog reader account, which has Gertie on it, and don't miss her at all. :\ Mostly I'm really not into her style, because it's heavily vintage-inspired and I really like true vintage better, and I mostly do historical things for which modern couture techniques are not desirable. The hair didn't too much bother me, although it was a shock, but I did stop reading shortly afterward so I haven't noticed a change in blogging personality.

I have to also say that I think she is SO PRETTY without her glasses. They never bothered me before, until I saw a picture she'd put up of her without them, and I literally didn't recognize her. I know they're part of her style, and she loves them, but now it make me sad. And that is probably just me!
