I've got a formal event at the end of the month, for which I'm going to make the dark pink vest for my bibfront gown.

Wonder if you still use pale pink for that hat and at the same time use your leftover darker pink for the hat trimmings. Or other types of trimmings with similar dark pink. Then the darker trimming will pick up the colour of the vest. Hope that help. :)

the pale pink I used for the dress is too lightweight for a hat .. it's a bit frustrating
