I was a smidgen amused that while some costume peeps were Under The Redcoats in Colonial Williamsburg USA, I was in the convict ranks being guarded by Redcoats in Sydney AU.

This looks like so much fun! I think wherever I go now I am going to suggest this "theme" until an event happens.

I like your outfit much better than the upper class lady. Your outfit is just so rich.
And the sneaky pickpocket is hilarious in that same photo.

It really is fun. I think having two opposing sides that aren't necessarily enemies adds a little entertainment to the peeps in costume (more than I'd expected). I didn't chase the pickpocket when he started practising before the event opened. He was quite disappointed!

It was the lady's first costume ever so I give her snaps for that. :)
