thinking about Miss Anne de Bourgh

I haven't had a lot of posts lately, cos I haven't done much. But I've been watching costume movies, and yet again I've wondered what Miss Anne de Bourgh's life could have been like if her mother died while Anne was still youngish.  And has anyone written a book set around her.    I see her as either suffocated by her mother and maybe not capable

I read a book about her that was kind of fun, but I can't remember what it was called. It was about Anne and her mother going to bath and her mother gets run over by a carriage. Anne really blooms!

I think many people would have hoped for something not-too-trivial to happen to Lady C. It's nice to know that I'm not the only person that thinks of Anne's life beyond P&P
