Project Title: Black Boystyle Vest
Short Project Description: I'm making this as a birthday present/something to wear to a meet-up for my boyfriend. It's based on Black Peace Now's Kuroshitsuji asymmetrical jacket, but as a vest (with a few other changes).
Projected Deadline: August 14 at the latest.
Pattern(s) Used: Drafting my own based on a McCall's pattern for a basic vest.
Materials needed: Twill outer, lining, buttons, jump rings (for a chain)
Challenges or obstacles:The pattern is XL but my boyfriend is XS so I've got some major resizing to do, in addition to other alterations to the pattern.
Fabrics:
I'm using a black twill for the outer fabric. The lining is bright blue because it's his favourite colour. =]
I also picked up some really awesome buttons, but I couldn't get a decent picture. They look something like a coat of arms.
