Did you make changes from original plan? Originally, I had planned to put purple ruffles at the bottom of the skirt, but nixed that idea in exchange for two rows of lace.

I cant believe you made almost completely by hand! That must have been a lot of work. I like the addition of black and white it will make it easy to coordinate with both colors.

Thank you! I had a LOT of spare time and I was carrying the skirt and my sewing supplies with me in my purse so I could start sewing any time I was waiting for something (which I did -- got one of my friends at my mall to start calling me Kanaya, haha)! I'm glad you like the black and white, at first while I was making it, I was a little bit unsure of it but I kept with it since I had planned it that way.

I quite like the purple. I feel like the waistband would sit a lot better with some interfacing, or heavier interfacing.

I agree, I may later put in some boning or something... The purple fabric is pretty supple so it doesn't hold up to well. But thank you very much! :D
