Hi! I'm Jess -- I've been a Lolita for about 2 1/2 years and I've been sewing Lolita since the day I started.  I've made nearly 100% of my Lolita skirts & JSKs (no blouses yet -- I'm terrified of buttonholes!). Hi. Did you know that your sewing machine can be removed from the cabinet by removing the grub screws?

Oh, and I buy tons of cotton print fabric from thrift stores. It's like a gold mine and super cheap :)

Best wishes with getting back into it! I would also recommend getting some solid interfacing and boning as well for a high-waisted skirt, otherwise the waistband will tend to bunch up terribly.
