I agree. I don't do sweet much, as I much prefer classic (not that you could tell that from looking at my meager wardrobe), but I tone it down too when I do wear it.
I really like the blouse and need to get the cream one as well before it sells out. I can see though that they'll be fragile at times because of the sheer material [and the lace that binds the yoke to the rest =O] hopefully yours is repairable, it's a perfect summer blouse.
I know what you mean. One of the main reasons my design changed so drastically is because of how it came out on my dress form. By the time I was done I didn't like it nearly as much as I thought I would... until I put it on and then I ended up liking it a lot. It does definitely look cuter worn than it does on the dress form.
I am really impressed by this, stripes take precision! I especially like the little detail you added with the half and half buttons and the alternating colors (from bodice to waistband for example). Good job!
Thanks so much! I ended up winging most of the design, the buttons included because it wasn't working the way I'd planned. I'm happy I ended up [with something halfway decent in the end, it would have sucked to do all the work [and spend all the monies] only to have a complete failure that I couldn't even wear -haha.

Also, I love this JSK. I wasn't liking the design so much on the dress form, but your worn pictures make it look super cute! You did a great job~
